All members have 30 minutes or until the end of the rebuy/entry period to check-in.

The Tilted Jack’s monthly game schedule is set at the general monthly meeting. We try to provide a good mix of single, unlimited and no rebuy formats with a variety of buyin (min-max) levels. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please talk to a staff member or come to the monthly meeting!
A unanimous vote by members may override any scheduled game formats or conditions.
Blinds and Blind Structure at
Our standard starting stack is 100 big blinds, with regular 2x, 3x and massive 4x Deep Stack tournaments. We do not rush our tournament players to finish so we can get a live game started, and because of our structure, our final tables feature some of the most exciting, competitive, and skill-based finishes!
Blinds are 15 minutes and start at “Nickel-Dime” (5-10) with a 10-minute hourly break.
The Tilted Jack uses a Nickel-Dime blind structure that starts members out with more big blinds than the 25-50 structure you may be used to. You have more chips, both physically and in relation to the blinds starting out. This means that even with a 1K starting stack, you start deeper than in a 25-50 structure with 4000 chips. The Nickel-Dime format also creates a more competitive final table with a better “big blind to average chip stack” ratio. This creates a better table where it takes a little longer to get to the inevitable “all in fest”. Our tournaments run a little longer, and the prize pools may be chopped more often, but members appreciate the tournament-friendly format.
See FAQs for detailed Nickel-Dime analysis.

We would like to remain as consistent as possible with our schedule month-to-month, using Saturdays as our trial for new ideas each month. On Saturdays we would like to change things up each month with something different. We want to offer a good mix of no rebuy, single rebuy and unlimited rebuy formats. A good mix of deep stack and normal stack tournaments, and some bounty tournaments and the occasional surprise or two.
Do you have any suggestions? Likes or dislikes? As with all things club-related, your input is valuable! If you would like to see something added, removed or modified, please talk to any TTJ staff member. And thanks for your input!
