The monthly Schedule indicates the exact date and time, but in general, our Monthly General Meetings are held on the second to last Saturday of each month at 11am. This usually gives us more than a day or two to alert members and prepare for any necessary changes for the upcoming month. It is at this meeting where the bulk of club business and decisions are made. Excercise your vote! Come join us at a monthly meeting!
All members should attend this meeting if at all possible. Last month we had a great meeting with 13 people and a lot of issues were addressed and resolved through the democratic process and rules of parliamentary procedure. It was fun to see the cooperative concept working and in action.
Agenda for next Monthly General Meeting:
- Review any open items from past three month's meeting minutes.
- Review and approve the Operating Agreement, which all members of the Cooperative ($20 Annual) sign to become equal owner with equal voting rights in the Club ($20 Lifetime).
- Begin nominating cooperative members for volunteer positions on the Executive Committee for the next year.
- Review and vote on new cooperative member applications.
- Review changes made to the tournaments and determine next month's schedule of events.
- Volunteers determine their availability and schedules accordingly.
- Review the Wed/Fri 2pm live game effectiveness and improvements.
- Review Fbomb penalties and other options (swear jar fund to PotM?).
- Review times for tournaments.
- Review ToCs and Quarterly formats.
- Review and vote on $5/500 with 50% to Benefit of the Month and 50% to the PotM, ToC and Quarterly Championship series winners.
- Review PotM points system. +10 points for first ok, or 2x base points for first? $ won?
- Any other member suggestions or ideas, and in general any new club business, will also be discussed.
